Grace Blakeley is an English economics and politics commentator, columnist, journalist and author. She is the staff writer for Tribune magazine and was previously the economics commentator of the New Statesman. She is also a regular contributor to Novara Media.
Her first book, Stolen: How to Save the World from Financialisation was published in 2019 by Repeater Books and her second book, The Corona Crash: How the Pandemic Will Change Capitalism was published in October 2020. She is currently writing her next book, which is to be published by Bloomsbury in 2022.
Grace is a prominent voice in the UK media, and features frequently on both radio and TV. She has previously appeared on Question Time, Politics Live, BBC Breakfast, BBC This Week, BBC News, Good Morning Britain, The Andrew Marr Show, Sky News, BBC Radio 4, LBC and many other outlets discussing both current political events and specific economic developments.
She is also an experienced public speaker, speaking at many conferences, panels and roundtables on issues related to economics. She graduated from Oxford with a First-Class Honours Degree in politics, Philosophy and Economics.
