Jordan North

Jordan North is a presenter who is best known for his drive time show with Vick Hope on BBC Radio 1. Alongside his appearance on I’m A Celebrity 2020 where he filled the nation with laughter & entertainment during the shows first series in Wales. Jordan’s obsession with radio began from an early age and drew him towards community radio station Preston FM. There he spent his teens horning his craft whilst working part-time on the radio station at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. In May of 2011 just days before completing his degree at The University of Sunderland, Jordan won Bauer Media’s stars of 2011, competition and presented a month of shows for Hits Radio. Jordan’s particular blend of the honest northern self- deprecation and genuine likeability made him many new friends and he got his first break presenting on Capital FM, during this time he also started working behind the scenes at BBC Radio 5live as a researcher for broadcasting heavyweights Victoria Derbyshire and Richard Bacon. In 2018 the BBC announced Jordan as part of the new weekend line up at Radio 1, later that year Jordan turned his skills to TV and can be seen presenting ‘Trending Live’ a live daily 90-minute show on 4music and YouTube. In December 2018 Hello Magazine featured Jordan in their ‘Rising Stars/ ones to watch for 2019’. Since March 2018, Jordan has co-presented the comedy agony-aunt podcast Help I Sexted My Boss with friend & expert William Hanson. The show aims to offer advice to listeners who have encountered modern day problems. The podcast is currently in its sixth series and was nominated for 'Best Entertainment Podcast' at the British Podcast Awards 2020.

2021 saw Jordan on our TV’s with Beverley Callard in new five-part ITV series, ‘Destination Wedding.’ Together, they will immerse themselves in local culture alongside thrill-seeking activities to help Jordan build up his confidence as well as help Beverly renew her Vows. He also saw himself become part of the hit show 'Saturday Night Takeaway'

2022 is a big year for Jordan and it kicks off with him presenting two of BBC Three's priority shows in 'Go Hard or Go Home' and 'Project Icon'. The latter being a new competition format with Jason Derulo, Becky Hill and Frank Harris.
