22 year old singer songwriter from West London who takes inspiration from Laura Marling, Big Thief and The Staves. 2021 saw the release of Matilda’s third EP, ‘Sonder’, which followed 2020's acclaimed 'Because I Wanted You To Know'. Championed by the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, KCRW and NPR, Matilda has toured with artists such as Arlo Parks, Beabadoobee and the staves as well as playing the the prestigious Park Stage at Glastonbury in 2022. Her live skills – hushed, magnetic performances that quietly draw you in and lock you into the tales she recounts in her songs – have also seen her score acclaim as well as good support slots.
