A South London native with a law degree, Yinka’s love for music lead her to the dream slot, The Capital Xtra Breakfast Show 6-10 am, which she hosted for three years.

Also a DJ, Yinka hosted the main stage at Wireless Festival for many years and has DJ’d for brands such as Very, eBay, and Revlon. You will also find many brand collaborations on her social media platforms, some globally recognised brands New Balance, Aussie Hair, and Boots which saw Yinka co-presenting live with Davina McCall. More recently Coca – Cola snapped Yinka up for a long-term campaign around their Festivals, hosting a digital show interviewing the artists.

From Radio to TV Yinka presented 4musics monthly ‘Fresh’ series for two years. Her lovable personality had more time to shine as she was able to bring a mix of ones to watch and established artists through their music performances and seated interviews. Proving that she can thrive in this space, Yinka was booked to co-host the Isle of Wight Festival in 2022 for the first time and was rebooked this year. Beyond her passion for music, is film. Yinka was the live red-carpet host for the BIFA Awards, interviewing A-list actors regarding award-nominated work. You will also find her hosting at screenings and for big movie premiers, most recently for King Richard, Batman, and Fantastic Beasts.

Yinka is an award-winning documentary presenter, winning a prestigious RTS and Grierson Award for her first groundbreaking Channel 4 documentary ‘Damilola: The Boy Next Door’. Due to the success and Yinka’s unique talent ‘How to Hire a Hitman’ was commissioned by Channel 4, a two parter documentary produced by Story Films. Her first Channel 4 dispatches documentary ‘Inside the Metaverse: Are you Safe?’ Aired in April 2022 and went viral and was nominated for a British Journalist Award which is very rare.

Yinka is a True Crime addict which is proven through her popular ‘True Crime Anniversary’ YouTube series. Merging this with her impressive presenting skills, led to the project of ‘True Crime Unravelled’ A Channel 4 Original digital series which launched in October 2021.

Yinka has been booked as a guest on many shows such as Comedy Central’s ‘Growing Pains’, BBC Two’s ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’, Channel 4’s ‘Bake Off: Extra Slice’, ITV2’s ‘Don’t Hate the Playaz’ and BBC Three’s ‘Tonight with Target’, Trevor Nelson’s ‘The Rap Round Table’, and ‘Glow Up’.

Fulfilling a lifelong goal Yinka hosted her own weekly, late-night talk show with co-host ZeZe Mills. “Unapologetic’ on Channel 4 for two series and she also co-presented a one off for Channel 4 called Jimmy Carr’s ‘‘How to Destroy Art’.

This year Yinka co hosted Channel 4’s ‘Naked Education’ with Anna Richardson and Dr Alex George, joined the Radio 1 family presenting early breakfast in August, hosted the first ever True Crime Awards, hosted the Mercury Music Prize shortlist announcement and the red carpet main event, is the new digital presenter for Channel 4’s ‘The Great British Bake Off’ and is one of the SU2C celebrity faces alongside her brother Kola, for their big marketing campaign, is a regular presenter friend on Channel 4’s ‘Steph’s Packed Lunch’ and her next documentary airs this autumn.
